A Misgah (Mashgiach) is a trained Kosher supervisor appointed by a Rabbi or Kosher agency to monitor and verify that a factory, kitchen, or production line is following all Kosher rules during manufacturing.

Monitoring production batches
-
Checking packaging, labels, and storage
-
Ensuring no non-Kosher material is used
